Wil let his body relax enough that his arms fell lower than the pile of dark elves that swarmed him. He took one deep breath and spun around flailing his arms outwards. The force he built up from the initial swing was enough to throw them back against the walls of the corridor. Each dark elf coughing up blood upon the stone floor. Wil jumped onto one of the elves on his right, tearing its still beating heart from its chest, and left an empty void behind. He bit into his foe’s heart and swallowed with pride. The rest of the elves began to slowly rise and ran away with looks of horror. Wil pressed forward and struck one of the elves in the back deep with his claws, lifted it up, and tossed it at its nearest kin knocking it to the floor. Wil proceeded to that elf and tore its spine from its back. He ran to the last of them and swung the spine in his claws like a flail towards the back of the scared foe’s skull knocking it prone. He kicked this one into the nearest wall with enough force that it cracked the solid stone with a loud pop.
A glimmer of light erupted from the cracks in the wall. It was Luna shining a pathway for Wil to follow, and escape this wretched place. He calmed his heart rate down and took back his original form. He felt at ease realizing that he could finally return home to his precious Ylva, all his lycan kin, and finally obtain answers as to why he had Lux’s bloodline from the Elders.
