The Hunter

Hungry ravens sulk in the pivotal darkness
Under a full waning moon of howls
Nevermore is heard in every crooked tree
Together in ravenous harmony

Tombstone rites glowing vexingly
Here lie the dead and the lost
Engraved into the blood ebony of thee
Perspicuous eyes full of nocturnal resent

Reincarnate infernal fires in the sky
Extradition has been fully met
Yielding the lariat lacerations of felony
Together they sway in the will-o-wisps

Harbingers of their larcenous lust
Allies of the ninth precipice
Tableau tainted with sin and must
Knave to the wilderness of draught

Intensively slaught in lieu of rot
Laced from navel to snout
Landmarked in kinship shed of doubt

Surrounded thru a hearth in his cot

"Walking in a path of darkness is a lonely road."

Breeze of Autumn

The last leaf twirls
round and round
in a miniature hurricane

Settled upon the nettle
down and down
upon the cold ground

A Thief's Pitfall Part 3: A Death Wish

Garak sat up and brushed himself off, the dust flying around in a cloud of smoke. He coughed a bit, then turned face to look at a rather large statue that depicted a demon of some sort. He didn't know too much about demons, but he knew enough that they were evil and vile creatures. The surprising part was that this statue wasn't there just a few seconds ago. “Now where did you come from,” Garak said as he reached slowly for his daggers at his sides.
“Garak.. Stoneswift,” a wispy voiced beckoned to him from where the obsidian portal stood, “Come to me... Garak.” He thought wiser to not go anywhere near the portal. Especially after seeing this demon statue appear out of nowhere. Instead, he stepped towards the unhinged wooden door that swayed and squeaked ominously. One thing he knew, he was going to get out of this strange place – and fast!

A Thief's Pitfall Part 2: Into The Depths

Bones were strewn across the floor's surface. Garak couldn't help but think they were from other fellows who had befallen a predicament similar to his own. He laughed at the irony as he stroked his black beard in thought. Usually he was the one who made the traps rather than becoming the one that is trapped. “May dah' Lucky Maiden chuckle at me own farce,” he laughed hysterically. He didn't fear anyone hearing him behind these walls.
Garak Stoneswift felt the stone walls surrounding him once again. This time he couldn't seem to find anything. Perhaps this was his fate for the misdeeds he had committed in his life. Garak propped himself up against the wall, sliding down into a slouched posture, and sat down in contemplation. He kept telling himself that there was always a way out, even in the midst of uncertainty. He was stubborn as any dwarf would be for sure.

In Constant Motion

I stand here innate of motion
watching the weather go by
one day it snows
one day who knows
it may be spring or summer.

The leaves turn green
until they coil and crumble
falling down in the breeze
in a world so humble
